Vibrant outdoor event and festival atmosphere

    Careers

Work on the tools event organizers actually rely on

TixSimple is a small, remote team building ticketing software for festivals, fairs, nonprofits and venues. We're hiring two roles right now.

    Open positions

Both roles are remote within the United States. Send a short note about the events you've worked on along with your resume — we read every one.

    Ticketing Sales Specialist

Full-time or contract Remote (United States) — Oregon preferred Rolling applications

Help festivals, fairs, nonprofits and venues move off high-fee platforms and onto TixSimple's low per-ticket pricing.

You will own outbound and inbound conversations with event organizers: understanding how they sell tickets today, showing them what their fees would look like on TixSimple, and walking them through setup so their first event goes live cleanly.

    What you'll do

    • Prospect festivals, fairs, nonprofits, campgrounds and venues that currently pay high ticketing fees
    • Run live demos of event setup, ticket types, discounts and QR check-in
    • Build accurate fee comparisons against Eventbrite and similar platforms
    • Introduce add-on services where they genuinely fit — Advanced Ticketing+, websites, Event Flow
    • Hand organizers to onboarding and stay involved through their first event
    • Keep the CRM current and report on pipeline weekly

    What we're looking for

    • 2+ years in SaaS, event, hospitality or local media sales
    • Comfortable talking to volunteer boards and seasoned festival directors alike
    • Able to explain pricing math clearly and honestly
    • Self-directed — you plan your own week and follow through
    • Bonus: you have worked on or volunteered at events

Compensation: Base plus commission on closed accounts and add-on services. Remote, flexible hours.

Be the person organizers reach when their gate is busy, a scanner acts up, or they need a ticket type changed an hour before doors.

This role powers our Done For You Ticketing & Events service and day-to-day organizer help. You will answer real questions from real events — often on event day — and make sure nothing blocks ticket sales or check-in.

    What you'll do

    • Answer organizer questions across ticketing, check-in, payouts and the event app
    • Provide hands-on coverage during event days, including some weekends
    • Set up scanner keys, gate configurations and merch pickup for organizers
    • Troubleshoot Stripe payouts, discount codes and issued or transferred tickets
    • Write and improve knowledgebase articles from the questions you keep hearing
    • Flag product gaps to the team with specifics from live events

    What we're looking for

    • 2+ years in customer support, event operations or box office work
    • Calm, clear communicator under time pressure
    • Technically curious — comfortable in dashboards, QR scanning and payment tools
    • Weekend availability during peak event season
    • Bonus: experience running gates, box offices or vendor check-in

Compensation: Competitive hourly or salary depending on experience, plus event-day differentials.
